CEO and Co Founder
Marisa is a qualified accountant with a wealth of experience of the waste recycling industry. She is key to the growth of Salford Waste Services and continually seeks to improve and support the whole team. Marisa is determined and passionate in the workplace and boardroom. She is proud of her family and also has a passion for everything equestrian.
Anthony Cauchi
MD and Co Founder
Anthony has 30 years of expereince within the waste recycling industry and has an amazing ability to solve problems. His drive and enthusiasm motivate the Salford Waste Services team and he continually pushes himself (and the company) to become the market leader. He is a family man and believes that ‘”You only get out what you put in”.
Josh Petticrew
Director
Josh is the youngest director on the board and his career began at an early age. He has enjoyed every area of the business with ‘hands-on’ experience which has helped him learn a wide range of key skills. Josh is active throughout Salford Waste Services on all levels. He takes a keen interest in fitness and takes his gym training very seriously!

Our story
Established back in 1991 by Anthony and Marisa Cauchi with just one waste skip! Salford Waste Services are still an independent and family firm. We continually invest in waste recycling and recovery technology at our own recycling centres. This ensures that we stay at the forefront of sustainable waste management.
Our vision
We are dedicated to achieving zero waste to landfill. We believe waste should be treated as a resource and we aim to recycle and recover as much reusable material from your waste as possible. Any other material that cannot be recycled is sent for further processing and used as fuel to generate energy. Our goal is to reach a 100% recycle and recover rate.
Our values
We are continually investing in the latest technology and equipment. As well as this we continually invest in our people. They are at the heart of our operation and we now employ over 40 full and part-time members of staff. Because of these people and their expertise Salford Waste Services are now one of the leading waste management companies in the UK.
Our operatives
Our operatives are trained to manually sort your waste and reduce the amount of material sent to landfill. Everything that can be recycled is picked out and sent to be graded. If it can’t be recycled it is processed and used as a fuel to generate energy.
Our drivers
All of our drivers are highly trained and are always presented in our company uniforms. You can rely on their expertise when unloading and collecting your skip. With excellent local knowledge, they ensure your skip is delivered when and where you need it. .
Customer service
Our friendly, knowledgable staff are on hand to advise you of our various services and skip sizes. They will arrange any required local authority permits on your behalf.
